Denver, Baby!?

Denver airport... Margaritas and killing 3 hours...

The Best Snow On Earth

So I'm sitting in the Coffee Garden at 254 South Main St. spending my last few hours in Utah.
I figured I'd upload a few of the photos that I rescued from Facebook...

Here is the view from landing at the airport... it was better flying in above the mountains but I couldn't reach my camera... maybe today on my way out:

These sewer grates are everywhere... I figured I'd document my feet in the city... like my new shoes?

I was so excited when I learned what the deal was with the flags. There are containers on either side of the crosswalk and you carry it with you and point. Apparently SLC has a high pedestrian-car-accident rate.

I saw this and laughed. It reminded me of Platform 9 and 3/4 from Harry Potter... yes I'm a nerd.

This is a Red Rock Honey Wheat beer! It was very good. I tried to find it in the store to bring back, but I heard later that they don't bottle their beer anymore...The reason being that they sent the beer out to be bottled, the people stole the beer and replaced it with a cheaper alternative and sent the bottles out to be sold. I can see where you'd be hesitant to trust again. They do however have "Growlers" which are larger jugs that you can fill up and take out. Perfect for camping I learned.

Everything is in bloom here which is bizarre because the other day it snowed and was freezing cold and today it's getting up into the 20's. I thought this tree was very pretty, and thus I stole a flower for my hair:

Well I have to go back to my hotel now, get my stuff together and get ready to fly away! I had a great time here and I'll post some more photos later. Maybe during my 4 hour layover in Denver......

Weird and Wonderful Salt Lake City, Utah

It has been a very interesting and stressful trip. I lost the photos that I posted on facebook when the hard drive crashed...but thank gawd for Facebook... I'll post a couple later, maybe after gaining some sleep.

For now... I just finished all the RJD2 photos. The show was amazing and they let me crawl all over the stage. AND the people at the front were shockingly wonderful and parted ways for me to move all around and get the shots, it was great. The opening acts, Happy and Dalek were both great, and everyone jumped and went crazy for RJ's Ghostwriter.
It's funny that right before I left for the show, a commercial came on with his song...

The only downside to the evening was the girl spillng her stout all over my camera bag. It smells like beer now.

Here are a few of my favourites...and then click the link for the rest of the photos!

Packaging...

Moving is consuming my life.
That and making lists. I can't stop making lists, and I'm so paranoid that I'm going to forget something before I leave for Utah...
Forget to do, forget to pack, forget to...look up?

I have a huge list of places to go and eat while in Salt Lake, I'm quite excited. Mainly because there are 3 brewpubs downtown, and as most people are aware,
white people love microbreweries!

The shelves came down/were sold:

My huge roll of bubble wrap:

Where most of it went... (goodbye art!):

Jon, frames and National Treasure (ew):

Me where my desk usually is (can't you tell by the perma-marks in the carpet!?):

Next post will probably be from Salt Lake City!
