Richmond Night Market

I got the chance to tag along with Jon's parents and the kids on Friday and finally see this Night Market in Richmond that I've heard so much about.
The food stalls were interesting and I cannot believe how busy it got at 9pm as we were leaving...
Here are some shots:

Summer's over...

Rough weather lately...gotta ride the storm out... and find ways to make the grey fun...

Rained this morning but the sun is out now...things may get better yet.

Love is love...

By chance I saw that Maurice was playing downtown on Wednesday night, and after my tough week of shooting, I figured I'd relax and take some live photos.

Here are some of my favourites of a band that always gives a great performance...

100 To Eat Before You Die...might just kill me.

EXHAUSTING. That's what this past week was... I got to shoot a great assignment for Vancouver Magazine that had me driving from Richmond to Deep Cove to Downtown and North and West Van! I learned so much about the city (through getting lost and reading maps) and cannot wait for the issue to come out, esp. because I have another surprise...that actually is barely a surprise as I've told so many people already.

In the meantime...here's the image of the Best Buy's section of Vancouver Magazine's September issue (out on newsstands right now!)

Barefoot on the beach...

Jon and I travelled over to Victoria for the weekend to shoot Darcy and Holly's wedding on a beach on the Strait of Juan de Fuca!
It was so beautiful there and I took some of my favourite photos to date!
Here's one that's not up on the blog where you can see more!

...and to celebrate a job well done and a fun afternoon:

Adventures off Bowen Island..

Jon and his family and I sailed over from False Creek to Bowen island for the weekend.
It was a very cute place, despite being next door to the ferry with the waves rolling in because someone may or may not have forgot the poles to the tent.

The last afternoon we got to spend some time on a beautiful boat and jumped into the cold ocean to cool off.
