My wonderful friends Amanda and Lizzy started a radio show on CJSF called "Feels Like Home".

It's exactly what it sounds like...stories about home...and the first episode was about House Parties, and of course the ladies had a listening party in Amanda's home for it, followed by the home of the Queen (of Dairy).

After a day of fun trips around Vancouver, Jon had a show to play! The Wilderness of Manitoba managed to make it to YVR despite terrible van issues and they all put on a great show!

Pre dinner festivities? The Reef for dinner!

The Mountains and The Trees!

From the east coast to the west coast (aka the best coast!) Jon Janes (or "The Mountains and The Trees") finally made it to Vancouver after lots of touring...

We did some of the standard sites to see, I made fun of his Newfoundland accent and then we wandered over to Radio 3 as Jon was to be on Lana Gay's show!

We both also ended up recording a Track of The Day (Thanks Hodge!) but you'll have to wait and see what song I chose...

Fun times!

USA! USA! USA!

First night of the fireworks, Team USA. Had excellent music, but not really fireworks music...more like high school jazz band. And for the lead saxophone in her high school jazz and concert band, it was pretty amazing, esp. when set to fireworks.

There are also a few shots of the beach (with Ladies of the Canyon playing for Shorefest), but it got SO busy and I had a panic attack later on. Never watching them there again!
