Oh Deer Dear...

My wonderful friend and musician Adrienne Pierce rolled into town last week for a visit with her family and a few shows in Vancouver. I was luck enough to catch her show at none other than the Media Club.

Adrienne played an excellent set with Ari and Niko and as you see from the last picture below, we had a fun time hanging out afterward:

After an exceptionally long day (that started in the Vancouver Magazine office!) at Thunderbird Stadium shooting Warped Tour, somehow I found the energy to leave my house again and book it over to the Media Club to see Adrienne Pierce ( @adriennepierce ) perform.
I really wanted to hear her live after spending the entire day at the studio taking photos of the drums and bass being tracked on one of her songs.
She's the sweetest thing in person, and it's always cool to hear songs live for the first time.

She'll be back at the Railway Club on August 25th as part of the "International Pop Overthrow"

My First Recording Session...

I was asked by my lovely friend Elisa to come to Blue Wave Studio and take some photos of Niko Friesen recording drum tracks for Adrienne Pierce.
It was a long but fun afternoon and I even found time to make a time lapse video of some of it.
